Rebecca Micklethwaite
Student Massage Therapist
Rebecca is a student massage therapist at Sena College of Massage Therapy. Her sessions are centred on calming the nervous system, offering clients a chance to slow down, exhale, and unwind.
Through slow, intentional touch and a peaceful space, Rebecca uses Swedish massage techniques to reduce tissue tension. Whether clients are carrying stress or simply need a moment to pause, she offers relaxation massage that leaves them feeling grounded, rested, and cared for.
Rebecca loves working with clients who are eager to connect with their bodies, integrating breathwork and postural awareness to build a deeper sense of ease.
She holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics with a minor in Psychology from UBCO, focused on exercise physiology, healthy aging, and the mind-body connection. With over five years of experience in client-centred care and a CSEP personal trainer certification, Rebecca coaches small group strength classes at Catalyst Movement Clinic.
Growing up, Rebecca embraced an active lifestyle, from gymnastics, volleyball, and basketball to hiking in the mountains. Moving her body in different ways has always been a key part of her well-being. Outside the clinic, Rebecca can be found on the local trails, paddling the lakes, skiing the hills, or soaking up the sunshine. She also enjoys strength training, Pilates, and yoga to keep a balanced lifestyle.
